The Archives section of this website is to highlight the Annual Fall Forum. The Fall Forum has been an annual event going back to the year 2001 and focuses on all aspects of teaching. These events have included citizens, policy makers, business partners, and many other people who have interest in the advancement of teaching in the state of Arizona.

2007 Fall Forum
The Teacher Education Partnership Commission (TEPC) held its 6th Fall Forum, The Quality Teacher Crisis: Arizona’s Response, on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Desert Willow Conference Center. One hundred fifteen individuals, representing Pre K-12 schools and districts, community colleges, universities, educational organizations, government, and students, attended the Forum. Activities included a keynote presentation by Dr. George Ann Rice, a review of the latest TEPC report, The Quality Teacher Crisis: Arizona’s Response, a panel discussion about recruiting and retaining teachers in Arizona, and small group discussions.


2005 Fall Forum
Aligning for Quality: Effective Teaching & P20 was held on October 14, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency located in downtown Phoenix. Citizens, policy makers, business partners, educational representatives and stakeholder organizations got together and shared ideas and explored solutions and strategies for quality teaching and strengthening the P-20 continuum in Arizona.

Where Have All The Teachers Gone?, held on March 6, 2001 and hosted by ASU West, provided tremendous input not only into the nature and cause of the teacher shortage, but explored innovative strategies to resolve it.
